Learn More About Pelvic Reset
Rooted in evidence, enriched by holistic support
After many years of working as a therapist in insurance-driven healthcare, Dr. Logan wanted to create a women-focused small business to increase access to pelvic health care in central Pennsylvania that was convenient for all women and mothers. With Pelvic Reset, you will experience a convenient and personal therapeutic experience within your own home, removing barriers such as childcare and commuting to a clinic.
Working with women in their homes allows a therapist to deeply understand your day-to-day movement mechanics and posture while gaining insight to stressors. Most women are the most at ease in their home, allowing their pelvic floor muscles to maximally relax and engage during treatment sessions, which is necessary to reset your pelvic floor soft tissue and minimize symptoms. If your home happens to be a place of stress, Dr. Logan is happy to meet you at friend or family member’s house within our radius.
At Pelvic Reset, we take time to fully understand your history and current lifestyle to guide you to reduced symptoms and better overall pelvic function. Dr. Logan practices with emphasis in external and internal manual therapy techniques to physically down regulate your nervous system in order for your pelvic floor muscles to assist you in all the ways you need. Additionally, Dr. Logan provides digestible and ongoing education regarding your condition and associated risk factors. She may recommend small lifestyle changes such as sitting on the toilet differently when at home, which could potentially make a large difference in your symptoms. These treatment components combined with a personal exercise program and/or symptom relief techniques will allow you to find relief and reset your pelvis so you are ready to enter the next phase of life.
